NEET PG 2025 Postponed: Supreme Court Mandates Single-Shift Exam Format

The NEET PG 2025 examination, initially scheduled for June 15, 2025, has been officially postponed. This decision follows a Supreme Court directive mandating that the exam be conducted in a single shift to ensure fairness and uniformity for all candidates. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is currently working on logistical arrangements to comply with this directive. New exam dates and related schedules will be announced soon.

  • Correction Window: May 9 – May 13, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Internship Completion: Must have completed a one-year internship on or before August 31, 2025.
  • Registration: Valid registration with MCI, NMC, or any State Medical Council (SMC).
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit specified.

Application Process

The application process for NEET PG 2025 was conducted online through the official NBEMS websites: natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. The process included registration, filling out the application form, uploading necessary documents, and payment of the application fee.

  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
  • Number of Questions: 200 multiple-choice questions
  • Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect answers
  • Language: English only

Cut-off Criteria

  • General Category: 50th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
  • PWD (General): 45th percentile
